Globe joins Asean mobile firms in roaming rewards promotion

There’s no better way to enjoy you trip to Malaysia than to make your Globe Handyphone’s roaming service your ticket to obtain rewards.

Globe Handyphone has partnered with Malaysia’s mobile service provider Celcom and other top ASEAN mobile operators to bring roaming subscribers the Celcom Mega Sale Roam and Reward Program.

This promo grants rewards for roaming subscribers of participating mobile operators upon use of the Celcom roaming service in Malaysia.

Until Oct. 31, Globe Handyphone postpaid subscribers who are traveling to Malaysia and who use its roaming connection via Celcom get a free MasterCard debit card that is preloaded with $10 value.

To get the free MasterCard debit card, Globe postpaid subscribers just have to accumulate 120 roaming minutes by making voice calls, including calls made to voicemail and data transactions done through WAP or GPRS. Every 120 roaming minutes entitle them to a free MasterCard debit card with $10 preloaded value. This may be used in any establishment that accepts MasterCard electronic worldwide.

The promo is presented by Celcom and Tourism Malaysia to promote the Mega Sale Carnival, a national tourism event for tourists visiting Malaysia.
