Sony Ericsson has launched a new phone model designed specifically for the Asia-Pacific market. It targets the strong lower-priced segment of Asian consumers, presenting a phone model that offers Sony Ericssons premium image through its elegant and stylish design.
The new Sony Ericsson T105 will appeal to modern young people who appreciate subtle sophistication and core features at an affordable price. It is small and slim and continues the successful new industrial design from Sony Ericsson, as seen in the T100 and T610. Both models captured the simplicity and minimalism of Scandinavian and Japanese designs.
The Sony Ericsson T105 features Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS) messaging with pictures, sound and animations that allow the user to exchange icons and ringtones with other brand phones.
It also has mobile Internet browsing with WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) and features an extensive gallery with 30 pictures, 15 animations, 14 embedded ring signals, 10 customizable ring signals and five games.
Users can create their own SMS templates for further personalization of messages. The more adventurous users may create new images and wallpapers (up to 10) using the Picture Editor, in addition to the 10 embedded wallpapers in the phone.
The phone comes in steel gray for the young professional and vibrant turquoise for a more outgoing personality. It measures 99 x 43.5 x 17.7 mm and weighs a mere 75 grams.
It has up to 4.5 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours (more than eight days) of stand-by time. Aside from EMS capabilities, the phone also has a calendar and picture messaging.
The Sony Ericsson T105 will be available in all Sony Ericsson dealers nationwide starting this month.
