SMS game launched in Finland

MTV3-Tele Oy, one of the oldest and most established commercial TV companies in Europe managing SubTV and MTV3 channels in Finland, has signed an agreement with Wireless Services Europe (WSE).

The latest SMS TV action game, Zäp, developed by WSE was successfully launched in the SubTV channel last June 30.

WSE chief operating officer Rainer Leinonen said, "This is another coup for the WSE. Entering into a highly competitive technology market with MTV3 is indeed something to be proud of. This partnership allows us to bring the latest SMS TV game content to MTV3 and SubTV channels, to cater to the enthusiasm for gaming of Finnish subscribers."

The deal instantly connects all Finnish GSM subscribers to the Zäp game and allows them to play the game regardless of which operator they subscribe to. The Zäp game is aired seven hours a week in Finland.
