Broadband VoIP service launched

Broadband Phils., a full telecommunications and Internet service provider, recently launched its voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP) service called "Voice Exchange," now available in all of its "wired" buildings.

Voice Exchange is the next-generation voice service through an Internet protocol-based network. It veers away from the old and expensive system of voice telecommunications, offering domestic as well as international direct-dial calls.

To ensure voice quality call on its IDD service, Broadband has provided a dedicated bandwidth to an international VoIP gateway facility in the United States.

The gateway facility is in partnership with Callahan Associates International, a huge telecommunications and cable company.

At present, Broadband is offering IDD services via direct lines or PABX connection to its customers or occupants of its "wired" buildings, assuring them of lower rates.
