BayanTel, PacNet forge alliance on Internet solutions

Bayan Telecommunications Inc. (BayanTel) and Pacific Internet have sealed a partnership to provide business and personal solutions for the Internet.

Under the partnership, BayanTel will provide Raw Internet Bandwidth Service (RIBS) DS3 to Pacific Internet.

RIBS allows the delivery of high-speed, local last mile digital connections to the Internet. DS3 is a dedicated, private line service designed for point-to-point communications and transmits data over fiber optic cable at 45 Mbps (megabits per second).

Pacific Internet has also been appointed to resell BayanTel’s digital subscriber lines (DSL) to corporate customers.

BayanTel is a facilities-based, fixed-line telecommunications and data services provider, offering a full range of switched and dedicated local exchange services.

BayanTel provides national and international long-distance services to residential, business and carrier customers in the Philippines.
