Warren & Brown Technologies, an Australian company world-renowned for innovations in optical fiber termination, distribution and management systems, has confirmed its participation in the Telecomex Asia 2002 international exhibition.
Originally established in 1921 as a tool-making factory in Melbourne, Australia, Warren & Brown joined the large automotive component manufacturer conglomerate REPCO in 1949 and re-emerged as Warren & Brown & Staff in 1986 when five former managers bought the division from REPCOs new owners.
The strategic need to diversify into the technology industry was immediately identified by the new owners and the Lightpaths range of optical fiber termination products was developed.
Warren & Browns Lightpaths brand of fiber management products has become the preferred range for Telstra Australia and as a result, is establishing an impressive image in the industry.
The brands leading range of products are halogen-free, fire-retardant plastic ducting and splice trays, optic fiber distribution frames, trays, wall boxes, pigtails and patch cords.
Warren & Brown is now well on its way to exploiting markets for its state-of-the-art telecommunications equipment. It now has a presence in most major world markets and remains active in seeking out new ones.
These markets include the United States, England, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, Russia, New Zealand, India and China. Success in these markets has been gained through a total company commitment, constant servicing of markets, strong market research and market-responsive product development.
Warren & Brown is locally represented by Zialcita & Co. Inc. To fully reinforce its presence in the Philippine market, it will showcase its state-of-the products and services at Telecomex Asia 2002, the seventh Philippine international exhibition on telecommunications, which will be held on May 15-18, 2002 at the World Trade Center, Metro Manila.
Together with Asia Mobilecomm 2002, Asia Networking 2002, Asia Broadcast 2002, Asia Cable & Satellite 2002, Asia Pro-Audio 2002 and the premier launching of new related shows Call Center Philippines 2002 and ComWorld Philippines 2002 these interrelated industry events will once again take centerstage as the only event that depicts the ICT buzzword convergence.
