Three’s the charm for Samsung
MANILA, Philippines — At the height of Samsung’s Unpacked 2018 last month, the much-awaited Galaxy Note 9 inevitably overshadowed the introduction of the Galaxy Tab S4, Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and the Galaxy Watch.
But as the trio finally reaches the Philippine market this month, let’s take a closer look at the tech giant’s newest set of Galaxy devices that not only ensure convenience but also guarantee productivity on the go.
Galaxy Tab S4
The Galaxy Tab S4 is a perfect companion for people who like the mobility of a tablet and the functionality of a modern laptop.
Just like the Galaxy Note 9’s distinctive feature, the Galaxy Tab S4 comes with a revamped S Pen that delivers more functionality such as the Air Command feature that provides optimal user experience.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S4 is evidently made to withstand heavy usage as it runs on a Qualcomm MSM8998 (2.35GHz + 1.9GHz), which perfectly complements the tablet’s 4GB of RAM.
In terms of storage, the Galaxy Tab S4 boasts a decent 64GB of internal space and an expandable memory of up to 400GB via microSD that is more than enough to accommodate all your important documents or even well-preserved folders of your favorite television series.
By plugging in a massive 7,300mAh battery that can last up to 16 hours of usage, Samsung made sure that users get to maximize the Galaxy Tab S4 on any given day – whenever or wherever they may be.
The Galaxy Tab S4 comes at a suggested retail price of P44,990.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5
Samsung also introduced a family-friendly device that specializes in entertainment mobility.
Boasting a glorious 10.5-inch display with a 16:10 screen-to-body ratio, the Galaxy Tab A is suited for individuals who enjoy long hours of sheer entertainment.
That’s why the Galaxy Tab A is ideal for individuals who prefer to watch their favorite shows wherever they want to as it always delivers an immersive cinematic experience because of its quad speakers that are especially tuned by AKG.
Just like the Galaxy Tab S4, the Galaxy Tab A also guarantees long hours of entertainment without the need for a power bank as it packs a huge 7,300mAh battery pack at the back.
But the Galaxy Tab A is not just about providing entertainment as it also offers security to children. By enabling Kids Mode, parents can control what apps can be accessed by their children, making the Galaxy Tab A a child-friendly device that ensures safety from the harmful effects of the Internet.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 comes in Fog Grey color and will be available at a suggested retail price of P23,990 starting Sept. 28.
Galaxy Watch
With a long-lasting battery life and customizable watch band colors, the new Galaxy Watch comes with new features that enable users to live a healthy and balanced life.
Exceeding past expectations, the Galaxy Watch’s new iteration takes care of its user by keeping them fit and healthy any time of the week. For example, the Galaxy Watch monitors the user’s level of stress throughout the day and offers breathing exercises to help them cope with stress. Every night, the device also automatically tracks the user’s sleep cycle to help them adjust their sleeping habits.
Apart from that, users won’t have to take off the watch just to juice it up because the Galaxy Watch can last up to 80 hours on a single charge.
All in all, the new Galaxy Watch serves as an extension of your Samsung smartphone and its ecosystem. You can easily check your schedule, play music, or instantly transform into a health buff with its health tracking apps.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch has two models: the silver 46mm variant with a suggested retail price of P16,990, and the 42mm that sells at a much cheaper suggested reyail price of P15,990.
Both devices will be available starting Sept. 14.
