Local online gaming pioneer returns, aims to revitalize industry

NBA2K Online combines the best of what the NBA2K series has to offer with immersive gameplay, rich player customization, and a massive online community. NBA2K Online is X-Play’s initial foray into online gaming.

“We think NBA2K Online perfectly suits the current profile of local gamers,” Gonzalez said. “Players are looking for quick but aggressive PvP (player-versus-player) matches and that is what the game exactly offers.”

According to Gonzalez, the end game for NBA2K Online is for it to carve a significant market in the competitive local e-sports scene, citing the Filipinos’ innate love for both basketball and online gaming.
