SM Cyber Month connects techies to the best and the smartest

MANILA, Philippines - SM Supermalls, through its ultimate technology and lifestyle center Cyberzone, ushers the month of August with the highly-anticipated annual Cyber Month Tech Sale, a month-long indulgence for the tech savvies, game geeks and gadget lovers.

 Celebrated by all SM Supermalls nationwide, Cyber Month Tech Sale showcases the best of the best in consumer electronics and features loads of fun-filled attraction for the techies—from the dropped down prices of the latest and hottest gadgets, insightful tech talks, friendly game fest, heaps of promos and freebies, and jaw-dropping expositions of the latest, state-of-the-art technology designed for optimal consumer experience.

 SM’s Cyber Month was kicked off by the launch of LG Electronics’ Smart Home last Aug. 5 at SM City Fairview. In partnership with LG and SM Appliance Center, the Smart Home activation will highlight how technology can transform the way we live and the homes we live in through the power of smart gadgets. Parts of the activation are product demonstrations and actual consumer experience where shoppers can witness how one smartphone can control and connect diverse devices and home appliances together.

 Meanwhile, being the home of the passionate Pinoy gamers, SM Cyberzone teamed up with Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART) for the biggest Clash of Clans (CoC) tournament in the country dubbed as the Philippine Clash 2015 with over P2 million worth of prizes – the largest prize pool in a local mobile gaming competition to date. The contest is ongoing until grand CoC battle on Sept. 26 at SM Mall of Asia. Aside from the competition, the CoC legs will feature exciting activities for fans such as tutorials, games and meet-and-greet with the CoC community.  

 Aside from the LG Smart Home launch and the Philippine Clash 2015, SM Supermalls will also mount the first ever Cyberzone Cosplay Craze, a grand celebration of cosplay through innovative and interactive activities that aim to entertain young and the young-at-hearts. Happening on Aug. 22 to 23 at SM North EDSA, the event coincides with the Cosplay Mania ‘15 Road Show and International Cosplay Day.

Beginning Aug. 28, SMART will hold its SMART Bro Gadget Expo at SM North EDSA where all SMART subscribers can avail of discounted devices, join gadget auctions, raffles and listen to tech talks and product demonstrations.
