Trend Micro launches global partner program
MANILA, Philippines - Trend Micro Inc., a pioneer in security software, has announced the launch of its global partner program, designed to further enhance the productivity and profitability of its more than 50,000 channel partners by enabling them to more quickly and fully capitalize on the growing market for Trend Micro security solutions.
Rollout of the new program will be completed in the first quarter of 2015.
“After a comprehensive evaluation of our programs, we have applied best practices from around the globe to establish a common structure for a single, more cohesive program that can help our partners drive sales like never before,” said Partha Panda, Trend Micro vice president of global channels and strategic alliances.
“We are confident that this new approach will allow them to more quickly identify and respond to business opportunities for our comprehensive security solutions. Most significantly, it will enable us to replicate successful initiatives across all regions to help partners grow their business and increase profitability,” Panda added.
In addition to selling standalone Trend Micro security solutions, this includes the opportunity to bundle Trend Micro with other solutions they may already be selling such as:
• Virtualization and cloud solutions from VMware, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Citrix.
• Converged or integrated infrastructure solutions from Cisco, EMC, IBM, HP, NetApp, VCE and others.
• Complementary security solutions from HP, IBM and others.
• Microsoft solutions such as Sharepoint, Exchange and Office 365.
