(IDC), the premier global provider of market intelligence for the information technology, telecommunications, and consumer technology markets.
Globe joins Bharti Airtel, Hong Kong Broadband, NTT Comms, and SingTel in the roster of the best telecom companies in the region, which were selected from over 100 nominations by a panel of independent industry practitioners, IDC Asia-Pacific Telecom and 4 Pillars’ Practice Leads based on the following key criteria: effectiveness of implementations, angle of “innovation,†business advantages, impact on customers, market take-up, and response to market needs.
Globe was awarded the Most Innovative xCommerce Enabler Award for GCASH American Express Virtual Pay (AMEX), a prepaid virtual card connected to a user’s GCASH mobile wallet that lets the user shop online conveniently from both local and international sites that accept AMEX as mode of payment.
This unique product also allows users to enjoy worry-free payment system through a security code feature. Customers are also provided with a personalized US address where packages can be delivered right away at a lower cost with flexible shipping options depending on the customers’ needs.
