TCL launches new products in Phl

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - With its recent successful entry in the United States, TCL, The Creative Life, continues its global expansion as it targets to gain a bigger market foothold in Asia, in particular the Philippines, with the upcoming launch of its new LED TVs in the third quarter of this year.

The brand is expected to unveil the L55E5690 LED 4K Ultra HD TV, a follow-up to the 32B2600 LED TV which the company, via its local subsidiary TCL Sun Corp., introduced to the local market in early September.

“These new additions to our product line are a clear indication of how TCL is seriously focusing on building its electronics brand leadership in the world, and how it sees the Philippines as an important market in Asia,” said  Bernie Li, marketing manager of TCL Sun Inc.

The 55-inch TCL LE5690 LED Ultra HD TV features next-generation 4K technology and combines stunning 3840 x 2160 resolution with SRS TruSurroundHD sound to provide consumers with a true home theater experience. TV brings the spectacular picture quality with four times the resolution of Full HD (1080p).

Built with an ultra-thin bezel with a modern gunmetal gray finish and a sophisticated slim frame design, the LE5690 LED Ultra HD TV’s advanced 120Hz CMI (Clear Motion Index) refresh rate displays fast motion sports and action scenes with clarity and smoothness.

Apart from enhanced picture quality, the latest model is also equipped with an Android 4.0 platform, Quad Core Technology and built-in Wi-Fi.

“With just one touch of the remote, viewers can instantly stream their favorite movies and TV shows and get the latest news, sports, and weather updates from Yahoo, Google, YouTube, among others, and download their favorite games and other famous apps via TCL App store. This model delivers a complete home theater experience with its Smart TV capabilities, premium picture quality, and large display,” Li said.

The new product also comes with four HDMI inputs that allow users to connect to Digital Cable Box, DVD/Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and other devices all at the same time.

As an MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) enabled TV, users can effortlessly connect smartphones or tablets to the TV to display content while simultaneously charging the device.

Apart from these remarkable features, the TCL L55E5690 LED 4K Ultra HD TV is also built with NaturaLight Engine II, an intelligent backlight adjustment technology that guarantees power-saving and ensures eye protection by greatly reducing, if not totally eliminating, the harmful glare emitted from the screen.

TCL is keen on developing more advanced, highly creative technology and innovative consumer electronics that will totally revolutionize the brand and user experience not just in Asia but in key global footholds such as the US and Europe.

Backed up by an ISO 9002 certification, TCL Corp. is an international company that operates in over 45 countries and comes as a strong competitor committed to satisfy the broad, diversified needs of consumers in the global market.

With its unique Hybrid Technology that comes from five different countries renowned for their electronics expertise (France, Germany, South Korea, China and the US), TCL is the first Asian brand that presents competitively priced, quality home entertainment products and an industry-leading two-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
