Convergys bags 2 call center awards in China

MANILA, Philippines - Convergys Corp., a global leader in relationship management, has announced that the China IP Communications Award Committee (CIPCA) has named Convergys the Best CRM Solution Provider and Best Outsourcing Call Center Service Provider for 2010.

CIPCA honored Convergys with these awards for its expertise in relationship technology management and holistic approach to superior customer solutions.

Convergys recently accepted the awards at the China Enterprise Communications Conference in Shanghai.

Convergys won the awards in the call center category following voting on the official award website that attracted 60,000 votes.

Then, an expert panel of industry judges evaluated the top three companies in each category, leading to Convergys’ double win.

“It is an honor to be recognized by our industry peers and we are privileged to be chosen as the recipients of these two major awards,” said Benjamin Hart, Convergys managing director of relationship technology management in the Asia-Pacific.

“Convergys helps its clients create and maintain stronger, more profitable, and more sustainable customer relationships by providing technology solutions for each stage of the customer relationship lifecycle,” Hart said.

In the Philippines, Convergys is the country’s largest private employer with over 22,000 employees in 12 sites nationwide.
