Social competition site launched in Vegas

MANILA, Philippines - Traxier, a social site that focuses on competition, was launched last Sept. 3 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The maiden venture of Connected Life Labs, an Internet startup based in Columbus, Ohio, Traxier lets users track their daily life data and use this to compete with other people on the network.

“Life is all about competition,” said Tanya Cinco, Traxier product manager. “Traxier lets people compete with each other on the normal, everyday activities.”

Traxier records the things people do every day — like drinking coffee, sleeping, working, exercising — and these form the basis for friendly competition with others on the network.

When people log their activities, they earn points and can win badges. Traxier also allows users to keep track, organize and compare with friends helpful life data like expenses, weight loss, calories, mileage, etc.

“It’s like the Olympics of everyday living,” said Traxier COO Franz Cruz. “Your arena is the real world, and the event is real life.”

Connected Life Labs Llc builds software and offers services that help companies find the hidden value in their knowledge capital.
