GenSan airport now a Smart Bro hot spot

MANILA, Philippines – Travelers going through the General Santos City airport no longer need to be reminded of peace and order when they hear that they are in a “hot spot.”

The GenSan airport has become a “hot spot” because it is now blanketed with high-speed Internet connectivity through Wi-Fi, powered by Smart Bro Inc. (SBI), the broadband unit of Smart Communications.

All travelers within the whole GenSan airport building, including the arrival and departure terminals, may connect to the Smart Bro network to get instant access to the Internet, for free.

GenSan, the gateway to the Socksargen (short for South Cotabato, Koronadal, Sarangani, General Santos) region, is one of the country’s most competitive areas, with local and foreign investments rapidly pouring in in recent years.
