Biggest, most expansive ZX Online update out soon

MANILA, Philippines - IP e-Games Ventures Inc. (IP e-Games), a subsidiary of IPVG Corp. and publisher of the award-winning Chinese MMORPG, ZX Online: Journey to Immortality, is set to release the biggest and most expansive update for the game.

The new patch/update, called the Rise of the Emperor, boasts of new game features, which include the much-awaited Territorial Wars, where clans (or guilds) will be pitted against each other in a battle for supremacy.

The grand launch also features activities and contests aimed to strengthen the game’s robust community of avid players.

“We are extremely excited to unveil to our ZX Online gamers the Rise of the Emperor patch. This is the update that our gamers have long wanted to experience, and we’re happy to say that we’re finally going to implement it in our local servers,” says Heidi Garayblas, IP e-Games’ VP for MMORPGs.

The main highlight of the patch update includes the much-awaited Territorial Wars, where clans will battle it out in an effort to conquer the Bastion of Heaven. The fortress houses the Zhu Xian sword, which grants immense power to the successful clan and its leader.

To celebrate this gaming milestone, e-Games has prepared a grand launch event filled with contests, tournaments and other activities for its gaming community.

Up-and-coming bands and a cosplay competition are also set to entertain the gamers.

“This event is our way of thanking the ZX gamers for their support and continued loyalty to the game. I know they have been waiting for this patch, and this event will be the perfect venue for us to let them know about its features,” says Jane Amador, assistant product manager of ZX Online.

Amador also adds that their community has grown by leaps and bounds, with more gamers experiencing the thrill of Old World China.

Just recently, the character level cap has been increased from level 90 to 150, thus enabling more players to access new maps and locations for an even more immersive gaming experience.

“Our theme for this launch is ‘Rise, Recruit and Dominate.’ We are encouraging the clans or guilds to build their army so they will be able to fully enjoy the Territorial Wars. This is one exciting feature of the patch that they should all try to experience,” says Amador.
