Seminar on fundamentals of call center operations launched

MANILA, Philippines – For four years now, the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) has been offering call center startups, investors, entrepreneurs, professionals, and others who want to be part of the booming call center industry with its best-selling CCAP Call Center 101 seminar series.

This year, the seminar goes back to basics with CCAP's "Call Center 101: Fundamentals of Call Center Operations," an introductory seminar that provides an overview of the main areas of contact center operations.

The seminar will be held on March 31 at the JV del Rosario Hall, AIM Conference Center, Makati City, and on May 5, 2008 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.

The seminar, which runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. is part of the CCAP Learning Event series, which started in 2005, and is expected to draw around 100 seminar participants.

Those who will attend will get a bird's eye-view of call center operations from industry practitioners, find out how they can profit from the booming call center industry, and leverage their knowledge as industry professionals, vendors, or service providers.  

It boasts of top-caliber speakers who are all veterans in call center operations, namely Benedict Hernandez, CCAP President and Senior Vice President for Philippine Operations of eTelecare Global Solutions; Jojo Uligan, CCAP Executive Director and Board Secretary; Annie Reyes-Pineda, President and COO of Pacific Hub Corporation; Roland Gaerlan, Vice President for Business Development at Advanced Contact Solutions, Inc.; and Joyce Penalosa, MP HR Director of StarTek Philippines.

The seminar covers  key areas of call center operations, including an industry overview, the call center business, startup requirements, financial metrics, human resource development, business development, and call center technologies.
