Surf with faster, better SkyBroadband
SkyCable braces for the rest of the year with another major undertaking to give better service to its growing subscriber base.
The cable TV service provider makes an aggressive stance in the Internet market with the launch of SkyBroadband, which it touts as the fastest residential broadband Internet service in the country today.
The service pushes the limits in Internet connection by providing up to 12 Mbps download speed, which is four times faster than any residential DSL.
Since SkyBroadband uses cable lines with higher bandwidth that can carry more data, it allows faster Web navigation as well as quick and seamless downloads of big files from the Internet, ideal for home networks and subscribers who use multiple applications in any given Internet session.
Formerly known as ZPDee Cable Internet, SkyBroadband was launched to align with the “Sky” brands that have been paving the way for groundbreaking innovations.
“We wanted SkyBroadband to be identified with SkyCable, the leading and pioneering cable TV company in the Philippines… In fact in June, we also launched SkyVoice, which is the most affordable way to make overseas phone calls,” said Rodrigo Montinola, SkyCable vice president for marketing.
“With the unique advantages of these brands, we will be able to provide unparalleled communication and entertainment services to our subscribers,” he said.
On top of the surfing convenience, SkyBroadband subscribers also get more value for their money with discounts on their SkyCable bills.
As an initial offering, SkyBroadband is giving a 15-day free trial for selected SkyCable subscribers in serviceable areas so they can experience for themselves the significant difference of cable Internet. Terms and conditions apply.
SkyBroadband is initially available in Las Piñas, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Muntinlupa, Pasig, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon City, San Juan and Taguig.
