ShopToshiba opens at SM Megamall

- Manny N. de los Reyes -

In line with the regional direction to promote Toshiba’s integrated office solutions, Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd.’s Computer Systems Division, in partnership with its mobile computing partner, Tricom Dynamics Inc., opened recently a new, exclusive concept store dubbed shopToshiba in Cyberzone, SM Megamall.

With the new store, customers can now see how Toshiba notebooks integrate with Toshiba copiers and data projectors for the corporate environment.

In a fully functional office, customers will need computers to work on, multi-function copiers to print, fax, scan and copy with, as well as data projectors to make presentations with.

To this end, Toshiba is positioning itself as the solution provider offering a complete suite of notebooks, multi-function copiers and data projectors that will satisfy any business at different levels of business needs and budgets.

All products can be interconnected to each other. For example, Toshiba notebooks can be integrated to a Toshiba multi-function copier via a local area network, allowing users to print forms from their notebooks, scan important documents, make copies and fax.

In the boardroom or while out doing sales pitches, the notebook can be connected to a Toshiba data projector for presentations.

Toshiba is one of the few companies in the world that offers this complete suite of solutions under a one-stop shop.

“The new shopToshiba brings together various product lines, including those from Toshiba Electronic Imaging and Data Projectors Groups into one integrated stop in downtown Manila,” said Lynette Leow, assistant manager of Toshiba’s Computer Systems Division.

“The convenient location makes it easy for our customers to come and view our products,” she added.

“We have fully supported this idea to have an integrated stop for our customers,” said Tricom Dynamics president Edgardo Isleta.

“We now have a shop floor to showcase what Toshiba’s world-class leading products are capable of. More importantly, customers can now get their total business solution for their office from one point of contact. That means less hassle for the customers. No need for them to call multiple parties to get everything,” Isleta said.

Established in 1875, Toshiba Corp. is a global high technology product leader with 315 major subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide.

Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toshiba Corp. Its Singapore-based Computer Systems Division is the regional headquarters for South and Southeast Asia.

In addition to notebooks under the Qosmio, Satellite, Satellite Pro, TECRA, Portégé and Libretto product brand names, the company also offers portable and wireless accessories for customers under the Toshiba brand name.
