WAP your way to ‘langhap-sarap’

Top Filipino fast-food chain Jollibee announced yet another innovation in delivery services as it becomes the first quick-service restaurant in the country to offer a wireless access protocol (WAP)-based ordering system.

This innovation allows customers with WAP-enabled mobile phones to browse through a virtual menu and place their delivery orders more conveniently.

Together with Smart Communications and Chikka.com, Jollibee introduces another convenient alternative in providing quality delivery service. Through http://jollibee.chikka.com, customers wishing to satisfy their cravings for the langhap-sarap experience now have another option, aside from going through telephone operators for delivery.

Just order from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and meet the required minimum purchase of P150. Jollibee will also waive the 10 percent delivery rate for WAP purchases reaching P2,200. A registered account is required to place orders but those without can still browse the menu for quicker ordering at the nearest Jollibee store.

The new service further expands the chain’s efforts to reach more customers through the Jollibee Express Delivery Service (JEDS).

JEDS made ordering extra convenient for loyal customers as it started using a one-number (8-7000) system in Metro Manila and other major cities.

JEDS also introduced high-quality delivery bags to preserve the freshness of its best-selling products while in transit, ensuring that only the most delicious and aromatic delights are served.

With Jollibee’s new service channel, waiting time is minimized for people on-the-go as they can place their delivery orders with a few simple clicks on their mobile phones.
