According to an Epson press release, it takes 60 seconds to take 12 billion pictures, make nine pizzas, deliver a baby and print out 30 long pages of that all-important document.
As we all know too well, in the dizzyingly fast-paced world we live in, every minute counts. And in this dog-eat-dog world, only those who can get up to speed really fast will be able to survive.
And so drawing inspiration from the Chinese moon cake legend which underscores the importance of speed, Epson launches the fastest additions to its evolving portal of imaging solutions: the Stylus Series C110, CX7300, CX8300 and its most efficient scanner to date, the Perfection V500 Photo.
“Why we chose a moon cake-themed launch is simple,” explains Mike Mondragon, Epson’s senior manager for corporate sales.
“The ancient legend illustrated how the speedy distribution of secret messages inside the moon cake served as the all-important spark in the Chinese victory versus the Mongols. We in Epson are heeding the valuable lesson of this story: speed brings victory,” he says.
Mondragon adds that speed is a crucial element especially in today’s fast-paced world.
“Everyday, we are faced with a deluge of deadlines, quotas and requirements that have to be met, and their quantity is such that every hour, minute and second counts. The only way that we can compensate is to act faster or to at least acquire tools that can maximize the amount of time we expend. This is what we envision through our latest imaging solutions,” he says.
Mondragon claims that while the Epson Stylus Series C110, CX7300, CX8300 and Perfection V500 Photo can’t make people type or think faster, they can nevertheless help bring success to their users by eliminating all imaging delays and hassles.
The Epson Stylus C110 is considered as the definitive efficiency-oriented printer, with a default output speed of 25 ppm (pages per minute).
Meanwhile, the all-in-one (with print, copy and scan functions) printers Stylus CX7300 and CX8300 are the fastest printers in their category with an output capacity of 32ppm and a copy speed of 30ppm.
Finally, the Perfection V500 scanner maximizes time by eliminating all scanning delays via its ReadyScan LED Technology, which requires very little start-up time, and its Automatic Document Feed function, which eliminates the hassle of having to manually scan several documents separately.
The launch of Stylus Series C110, CX7300, CX8300 and the Perfection V500 Photo shows how Epson draws on the value of speed to revolutionize imaging as we know it.
