Marife Zamora, Convergys’ vice president and country manager in the Philippines, announced the appointment.
Mueco will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Convergys’ seven contact centers and approximately 9,500 employees in the Philippines.
Mueco started with Convergys in July 2004 as senior director. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from St. Scholastic’s College in Manila.
"This (Mueco’s appointment) is to ensure continuing operational excellence across all sites," Zamora said.
Convergys recently dedicated its newest contact center and Philippine headquarters – Convergys One – in Manila. The dedication ceremony was graced by no less than President Arroyo.
Convergys is a world leader in providing customer care, human resources and billing services. It employs over 9,500 workers in seven state-of-the-art facilities throughout the Philippines.
