Igniting innovation in small, medium businesses

-
IBM Global Technology Services Philippines has announced its wide array of business and information technology services to address the mid-sized business market in the recently concluded IBM IT Innovation Conference held at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

Aileen Judan-Jiao, country sales executive of IBM Global Technology Services, discussed "What Makes a CIO Special?" from the 2006 IBM Global CEO Study perspective.

An important finding of this study shows that technology and business integration is the key to igniting innovation in small and medium businesses (SMBs).

"To drive growth in the organization, adopting innovation requires a responsive and flexible IT infrastructure. Setting up an infrastructure agenda and adopting technological advancements could be a tough challenge for an SMB organization," Jiao said.

"The IT innovation agenda, however, may not necessarily require a big budget and maximum resources, not if you have the right tools, techniques and approaches," she added.

IBM Global Technology Services now offers a comprehensive yet flexible portfolio of services to provide small and medium businesses with practical, cost-effective ways to solve their toughest business and IT challenges.

These include innovative solutions to simplify and optimize clients’ IT, business resiliency and security solutions, systems management, technical support and training services.

IBM Global Technology Services can also customize IT and business solutions to fit customers leveraging on their innovative edge. – Alma Anonas-Carpio
