In a statement, Pinnacle Systems general manager Jeff Hastings said, "Consumers are embracing video and digital photography not just because of cool technology or neat new devices, but because capturing treasured moments and sharing their stories are an important part of their lives. Weve taken a quantum leap forward with version 10 to ensure that our customers have access to a wider range of formats like HDV to achieve their goals when preserving memories."
He added: "At the same time, weve been careful to maintain the extremely intuitive and friendly user interface that Pinnacle users know and love. Studio version 10 incorporates popular features like built-in DVD authoring with motion menus and custom navigation, as well as Pan and Zoom, enabling users to quickly create engaging video slideshows from digital photos.
With SmartMovie II, customers can develop home movies in minutes, choosing styles and genres and applying them with the click of a button.
In addition, customers can create and preview effects in real-time, perform instant transfers to DVD, and easily organize videos, photos, audio and music files for drag-and-drop editing with Pinnacle Media Manager.
