Drug test centers back IT provider
April 11, 2003 | 12:00am
A group of drug testing centers have thrown their support behind a company handling their information technology system.
These centers conduct drug tests for motorists as a requirement for the issuance of drivers licenses by the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
Owners and operators said they are satisfied with the services of Prism, a private company which, they said, has authenticated, tamper-proof and complete facilities nationwide.
They said Prism charges them only a lower fee.
Changes in the IT code provider loomed after the accreditation and issuance of permits for drug testing centers were devolved from the LTO to the Department of Health.
