The 14-year-old restaurant recently improved its website (www.cravingsgroup.com) to include information about its new food products and services, especially for Christmas. With the online ordering system, Cravings customers should find it more convenient to order in advance their preferred food, gift and party packages and avoid the Christmas rush.
The online order system requires the customers specific order, contact information, order date and pick-up time and date. Items ordered online are payable by cash upon pick-up from any Cravings branch or affiliate restaurants and cafés.
Online orders must be submitted to Cravings at least two days before the expected pick-up date, says Cravings Group president Annie Guerrero, the first Filipino to be a certified culinary professional.
The website, she says, takes her company to another level from its modest beginnings as a small bakeshop counter along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City back in 1988.
The website carries a full menu listing in sections called From The Kitchen and From The Bakery, among others. From The Kitchen offers main dishes such as the holiday bestseller Roast Turkey or Chicken with Chorizo Stuffing as well as pasta selections. From The Bakery, on the other hand, offers cookies, cakes, pies and other dessert items.
The Cravings website is also loaded with photos of some of the restos delicious treats to enhance the customers viewing and appetite. Hopefully, the pictures shouldnt take long to download.
Cravings also welcome online orders for Christmas giveaways, particularly coffee beans from its affiliate, The Coffee Beanery. Other Cravings affiliates whose packaged services are also featured in the website include the Center for Culinary Arts Manila, C2 Restaurant and Bar, Monsoon Restaurant and Bar, Seven Suites Hotel-Observatory, Grilla Bar and Grill and The Orange Place.
