Hewlett-Packard Philippines Corp. introduced last week the HP LaserJet 4100mfp, the new multifunction printer (MFP) and a portfolio of wireless printing solutions that make it easier for businesses to reduce costs by managing information globally from a single integrated device.
The new HP LaserJet 4100mfp is a compact, Internet-enabled network multifunction printer that offers fast, efficient printing, copying, color scanning and digital sending for business workgroups with shared printing and copying needs. Small, medium and large organizations can use the robust 24 pages-per-minute print and copy engine, embedded send-to-email capabilities and optional digital sending software to maximize document management and distribution capabilities.
The new printer allows organizations to capture, integrate, archive and distribute information to optimize productivity and streamline communications. Engineered to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, increase productivity, and can aid businesses of all sizes.
By enabling users to print, copy, color scan, fax and digitally send documents to Internet and e-mail addressed around the world, the HP LaserJet 410mfp can help customers optimize their work environments without sacrificing user access, convenience or productivity.
In addition, it is designed to simplify IT infrastructures by providing organizations with the HP services, products and support they need to standardize on HP configurations and supplies management, robust networking connectivity and management solutions, and Internet-enabled printing.
According to the Gartner Group, organizations that typically print and then distribute paper documents have begun to transition to new workflow processes in which digital content can be stored, retrieved, integrated and distributed whenever and wherever its needed. When combined with a well-planned "rightsizing" of underutilized single function devices, these workflow enhancements can save businesses between 10 and 30 percent of their operational costs when fully deployed, according to a Gartner Group report.
"For many of our customers, MFPs represent a key opportunity to reduce costs and improve productivity within their enterprises," stated Anabelle Co, HP country category manager for commercial printers, HP Imaging and Printing Group. "We believe the customer value delivered by the HP LaserJet 4100mfp will play a critical role in accelerating HPs growth in this evolving market. Moreover, customers can expect to see a further broadening of our multifunction product and solutions offerings as HP continues to aggressively invest in this area."
