Oracle Corp., the largest provider of software for e-business, has announced that Active Business Solutions Inc. (ABS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Yapster e-Conglomerate Inc., is a key strategic channel partner for the Oracle E-Business Works solution for small to medium business (SMEs) in Manila and other countries in the Asia-Pacific.
The Yapster group has been using Oracle E-Business Suite solutions for nearly four years, and recently, added the Oracle Exchange capability known as SourcePilipinas marketplace a landmark for the company and a window to the international marketplace.
Oracle E-Business Works is a unique and low-cost solution to help SMEs accelerate their transition to becoming e-businesses. It will allow them to quickly reap the benefits of e-business processes and enter the e-commerce world at an affordable price with low infrastructure costs, and simplify their core business processes without compromising their competitiveness.
When a company implements Oracles E-Business Works solution, the essential processes required to run the business are efficiently streamlined from purchasing, payments, orders management, inventory control, financial budgeting to catalogue management, and direct links to the marketplace are made available.
"Philippine companies now understand the importance of transforming themselves into e-businesses. Given the global economy, we realize the need for a cost-effective, low-risk solution that allows our customers to begin their transition today starting with internal operations being effective and efficient," said Abigail Yap, CEO of Active Business Solutions.
"Oracle E-Business Works has enabled us to offer a solution that addresses key business processes, not functionalities. As we have implemented the solution in our own internal operations, we have realized the efficiencies of time, money and information that is a business pain for many companies," Yap added.
ABS is one of the most respected organizations in the Philippines, providing e-commerce and Internet application solutions development, and is thus well-placed as a key strategic channel partner to sell, supply and support the Oracle E-Business Works solution.
