REDWOOD SHORES, California – Oracle Corp., the largest provider of software for e-business, has announced the Oracle Exchange Partner Initiative, a comprehensive partnership program for online business-to-business collaboration.
Oracle Exchange Partners will provide a range of integrated value-added services for Oracle Exchange operators, suppliers and buyers worldwide.
The services offered by these partners, ranging from independent software vendors and content providers to financial institutions and transaction delivery companies, will be integrated into the Oracle Exchange platform. More than 30 companies have joined the program.
The Oracle Exchange platform, when combined with these partner services, transforms the traditional B2B marketplace into a true B2B businessplace – enabling complete collaborative business flows across enterprises seamlessly linked to internal processes.
Through the Oracle Exchange Partner Initiative, Oracle continues to partner with industry leaders whose products and services play critical roles in the activities of Oracle Exchange’s businessplace participants who, in turn, may design, sell, plan, source and fulfill through a personalized businessplace portal.
"The Oracle Exchange Partner Initiative is a natural extension of our B2B strategy for business-to-business commerce," said Sandy Sanderson, executive vice president of Oracle Corp.
The powerful, open architecture of the Oracle Exchange platform allows participating partners to integrate their applications easily. This integration will offer customers expanded choices of dynamic content and services required for today’s and tomorrow’s B2B businessplaces.
Partners will benefit through rapid adoption of their services by buyers, suppliers and marketplace operators of the Oracle Exchange platform. Partners’ services will also be made available to participants on Oracle’s global, open, horizontal marketplace, OracleExchange.com.
