Quick takes from around the market

Altus Property Ventures [APVI 16.30 0.87%] [link] will transfer from the SME Board to the Main Board on May 13. I don’t have any info on why the Go Family would undertake to move APVI to the Main Board, unless it is looking to morph APVI into a proper holding company or change its primary purpose (both of these actions are restricted on the SME Board). Is APVI about to become part of some greater set of plans for the family? Reach out by email if you have any info on this please!

CTS Global [CTS 1.00] [link] has applied ~23% of its IPO proceeds to the “scaling of global trading operations”. CTS is moving pretty quickly to apply the capital to its traders who are using the CTS trading system, so maybe we’ll get a chance to see if this is working by July/August when CTS’s Q2 earnings report comes out.

Globe [GLO 2388.00 7.47%] [link] Q1 profit surged 87% y/y, up 147% q/q, to P13.6 billion. GLO attributes its record profitability to top-line data services growth, and to the partial sale of its data center business. This was a massive quarter for the Ayala Family’s telco.
