Malabon completes blue card aid

MANILA, Philippines — Fulfilling its promise of five tranches of assistance in 2024, the Malabon government has started distributing Christmas hams and five kilos of rice to beneficiaries under the city’s Ahon Blue Card program.

Up to 84,048 blue card holders are expected to benefit from the fifth tranche.

Distribution is scheduled from Dec. 22 to Jan. 31.

As of Dec. 16, 65,110 blue card holders have claimed their financial aid.

Burial assistance has been provided to 433 residents while 272 beneficiaries availed themselves of hospitalization aid under the program.
