Cops inspect fireworks firm in Bulacan

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP)’s Civil Security Group (CSG) on Monday inspected the premises of a fireworks manufacturing company in Barangay Sampaloc, Bulacan to ensure public safety during the holiday celebration.

The PNP said the CSG team checked the company’s compliance with safety regulations, manufacturing standards and security protocols.

The inspection was part of police efforts to minimize risks and promote accident-free festivities.

The team inspected the company’s storage and processing facilities as well as the quality control system.

It reminded the public to purchase pyrotechnic and fireworks products only from authorized and licensed manufacturers as well as follow the guidelines in the proper handling of these items to prevent injuries and loss of life.
