First Elekta users’ meet in Phl

MANILA, Philippines - Elekta, a leader in image-guided radiation therapy, recently held its first Elekta Users’ Meeting in the country at Summit Ridge in Tagaytay City.The event brought together representatives of many top hospitals and unveiled some of the latest developments and future innovations from Elekta. Attendees also shared their experiences using oncology, neuroscience, software and brachytherapy solutions from Elekta. Among the conference highlights were presentations from Dr. Frank Schneider from the University Medical Center Mannheim (Germany) who discussed his experience with Elekta’s oncology solutions; Dr. Apichart Panichevaluk from Bumrungrad International Hospital (Bangkok), who shared his experience utilizing Elekta’s brachytherapy solutions; and Dr. Theodor Vesagas of the Philippine Gamma Knife Center. The event was held in cooperation with Fernando Medical Enterprises Inc.
