Get test results online via St. Luke's eHealth
MANILA, Philippines - St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City is continuously improving customer service by empowering patients to get their laboratory test results anytime and anywhere through the Web.
The recently launched St. Luke’s eHealth service is an Internet-based facility that allows patients to view, save or print their diagnostic laboratory test results at the time they need it anywhere they are.
“We have recognized the high connectivity and dependence of a growing number of people in the digital world and this has inspired us to create this Web system that is fast, secure, personalized and easier for patients to access their test results online,” said St. Luke’s president and CEO Jose F.G. Ledesma.
The new service significantly reduces the waiting time among patients and lessens their anxiety related to their anticipation of their diagnostic results.
St. Luke’s eHealth service is for free and covers in-patient and out-patient results, including executive check-up tests from the Health and Wellness Center that is accessible to any platform, including PCs, laptops, iPads, and mobile phones.
Registration process for this new service is easy. One can choose between registering online or on-site. For online, patients can just log on to www.stlukesmedicalcenter.com.ph and click on the “St. Luke’s eHealth” tab and follow a few simple instructions.
For on-site registration, patients can fill out an authorization form attached to the St. Luke’s eHealth flyers available around the hospital which can be submitted to any hospital service unit.
“We made sure that the service is safe and secure. Patients can change their desired password for their own security and convenience and we give assurance that the information online will always be kept confidential,” Ledesma said.
Only the duly registered patient can view the results unless a representative is authorized. For minors, the parent or guardian may register on their behalf.
Patients who have had diagnostic tests done in St. Luke’s for the past two years may also register to view their results within the period.
