St. Luke's launches 'Health Care Plus'

MANILA, Philippines - The St. Luke’s Medical Center has launched a radio program that will try to inform and explain to listeners the many causes of various diseases and how these can be prevented through consultations with medical experts, and by having a healthy lifestyle.

Titled “Health Care Plus,” the program aims to educate Filipinos on the many health issues of today’s modern society as well as the multi-disciplinary approaches to available treatments, the latest in medical technologies and the numerous wellness programs that are being offered by the world-class hospital.

Hosted by veteran broadcaster Marilen Tronqued, there will be specialists to discuss specific illnesses like cancer, brain and heart problems, digestive and liver ailments, quality care and a host of other health-related topics that affect people from all walks of life.

Health Care Plus can be heard Mondays to Fridays, 7:30 to 8 p.m., on business radio dwBR (104.3 FM).
