Skechers launches limited edition Shape-Ups for breast cancer awareness

MANILA, Philippines - Every year, there are over a million women who get affected by breast cancer. Mothers, wives, daughters, sisters — all the women in the world are prone to it. Spreading breast cancer awareness is important not just to family and friends but also to everyone who may be unaware of the risks of the disease.

Skechers recently released Shape-Ups — its revolutionary fitness shoe — to promote a healthier and fit lifestyle. With its soft kinetic wedge technology, Shape-ups gives the user the comfort and benefits of walking on sand. With that, the shoe helps promote weight loss, tone the legs and buttocks, improve posture, reduce stress on knees and ankle, and offer many other proven benefits.

Now, Skechers Shape-Ups launches its limited edition Shape-Ups Awareness shoe — specifically designed to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The shoe features a distinct pink ribbon that signifies Skechers’ support for the campaign against breast cancer. For every purchase of the shoe, Skechers will donate $10 to I Can Serve Foundation Inc., a local organization that promotes breast cancer awareness for early detection and prevention.

Be part of the awareness campaign by joining Skechers Shape-ups’ Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness this Sunday at Eastwood Citywalk II. Join the walkathon from 6 to 8 a.m. to show your support for breast cancer awareness, and enjoy the rest of the day in the wellness booths and activities.

Skechers will also be giving out the limited edition Shape-ups Awareness shoes to lucky walkathon participants, so walking for a cause can also be fun and rewarding.

For the walkathon pre-registration, contact Paul at 0927-4190764.
