The modern treatment of breast cancer will be the main focus of the upcoming 2nd International Symposium on Cancer on Nov. 6-7 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
The symposium will provide actual clinical scenarios on breast cancer diagnosis, management and treatment where expert advice will be presented by a distinguished roster of speakers, including medical experts from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Topics to be discussed include History of the Treatment of Breast Cancer, Fundamentals of Breast Imaging for the Clinician, Understanding the Mammogram, MRI, PET Scan in Breast Cancer Management, Image-Guided Interventions, and Gene Expression Profiling in Breast Cancer, among others.
The symposium is presented by St. Luke’s Medical Center in cooperation with the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, St. Luke’s Cancer Institute and St. Luke’s College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial.
