The Remedios Trinidad Romualdez Schools Inc.-Makati Medical Center (RTRMS-MMC) recently commemorated its anniversary with a weeklong affair that carried the theme “Quantum Leadership in Nursing Education.”
Eden Cacanindin, dean of the College of Nursing, opened the ceremony for the celebration’s line-up of various activities, highlighted by a fund-raising concert held at the Palacio de Manila on Roxas Boulevard that showcased the college’s most talented students.
Since its inception in 1976, RTRMS-MMC has upheld its three-fold objective of teaching, service, and research, while its curriculum and research facilities go through continuous development and improvement.
The nursing college has also been granted a Level II accreditation by PAASCU, a private organization that validates academic programs to ensure that schools meet the quality standards of education.
The RTRMS-MMC continues to grow and excel, and is considered as one of the top performing nursing schools in the country, based on the consistent excellent performance of its graduates in the nurse licensure examinations since the school’s establishment.
