Training course for new pollution control officers

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and the Water Environment Association of the Philippines (WEAP) will conduct a basic training course for new pollution control officers (PCOs) on Sept. 11-14 at the Quezon City Sports Club on E. Rodriguez Boulevard.
The seminar will orient prospective PCOs on the different environmental laws and rules and regulations, EMB policies and programs, and the PCOs duties and responsibilities.
EMB director Arnulfo Hernandez will lead the training to enable industries to improve their environmental management and pollution prevention and enable them to maintain cleaner production of goods.
