He stressed that the best way to prevent the disease is to have a healthy lifestyle.
In case they suspect that they are already suffering from the disease, Garcia encouraged men to consult their doctors.
Existing research demonstrates that difficulties in communication can prevent a man from finding a treatment that improves his erectile function.
"Its very important that men seek consultation when they suspect that they are suffering from ED," said Garcia.
"ED can be a manifestation of other serious problems like cardiovascular problems," he added.
The Mens Vitality Place is a mobile wellness clinic which aims to promote mens health wellness.
It was launched as part of Bayers "Strike Up A Conversation" campaign, which aims to help every couple affected by erectile dysfunction to communicate openly about their sexual concerns in order to find a treatment that improves a mans erectile function and a couples quality of life.
The program also identifies key barriers to communication and provides ED sufferers, partners and doctors with knowledge, skills and tools to overcome them.
