The theme of the day-long event is "Current Strategies Toward Improving Mens Health." The lectures will include timely and relevant topics such as male osteoporosis, prostate disease, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, sleep disorders, andropause, and hormone (DHEA and testosterone) replacement therapy.
The convention will be highlighted by an interactive discussion on actual clinical cases among and between a panel of experts and the audience in order to emphasize the practical aspects of the management of the aging male.
PHISSAM is a multi-disciplinary society composed of specialists from the fields of urology, endocrinology, rheumatology, orthopedics, gynecology, psychiatry and family medicine.
It aims to help promote healthy aging and seeks to provide awareness of mens health concerns and problems to both physicians and the lay public.
