Ampalaya: Nature’s answer to health woes

-
Amargozin Ampalaya capsules are not bitter to swallow.

Containing 500 milligrams of ampalaya (momordica charantia l., makiling variety) leaves, Amargozin capsules give the common benefits of the plant’s leaves and fruits that are rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as iron, calcium and phosphorus.

Ampalaya is a very common and highly nutritious vegetable widely cultivated throughout the Philippines.

According to the Food and National Nutrition Institute, each 100 grams of ampalaya contain 1,205 ug of beta carotene (Vitamin A), 0.03 mg of thiamine (Vitamin B1), 0.11 mg of Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), 0.6 mg of niacin, 14 mg of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), 0.3 mg of iron, 25 mg of phosphorus and 74 mg of calcium.

Amargozin Ampalaya is cultivated and nurtured in organic and environment-friendly farms. The leaves and fruits are harvested only by trained personnel and processed into capsules in a Bureau of Food and Drugs-registered pharmaceutical facility complying with current good manufacturing practice standards.

At present, the Department of Health is promoting ampalaya (makiling variety) as one of 10 medicinal plants for public consumption.

Amargozin Ampalaya capsules can be taken initially at one to three capsules thrice daily, with the dose adjusted depending on blood sugar levels.

Amargozin is currently the most affordable ampalaya capsule in the market. It is available in all Mercury Drugstore branches nationwide.
