Wastewater training seminar

The Water Environment Association of the Philippines (WEAP) Inc., a member of the Association of Water Environment Federation (WEF) based in the United States, will conduct a two-day seminar on wastewater processes and operators training course on May 29-30 at the Manila Galleria Suites, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Supporting the seminar is the United States-Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP). The seminar will be presented by American and Filipino experts in wastewater engineering.
The same seminar will also be held on June 1-2 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City and on June 4-5 at the Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City.
The seminar aims to provide participants information on the various available wastewater treatment technologies in both secondary and advanced treatment processes.
It will also provide technical information on the laboratory and industrial pre-treatment programs, practices for plant operators sewer use and rate ordinance, and an overview of the Clean Water Act.
