MANILA, Philippines - Over the past five years, a huge amount of attention has been given to residential developments being built in various parts of Metro Manila. With a wide array of properties and locations to choose from, home-owners now enjoy more freedom to invest in developments that complement the kind of lifestyle they live. Conversely, real estate companies are also shifting the way they attract and address possible buyers by using various media outlets such as television and the Internet to reach and connect with their markets.
One of the frontrunners in bridging the gap between consumer demand and business opportunities in the real estate sector is Philippine Realty TV (PRTV), the first and longest-running real estate and construction television show in the country. An ever-evolving media platform, PRTV recently launched its brokerage arm, Realty Emporium, as a response to the changing needs of both the property developers and potential buyers.
“We created Realty Emporium to become a platform for real estate companies to reach out and sell their properties better to a larger, more diverse audience,” says PRTV CEO and executive producer John Aguilar. “Through Realty Emporium, we’d like to be able to nurture our close collaboration with developers and consumers to be able to find the right properties for the right markets.”
As it diversifies further into a multi-faceted real estate platform, PRTV is now launching the “Search for the Superstar Sellers,” a reality series that will challenge aspiring real estate sales professionals in a bid to sell the most number of properties.
Through this latest innovation, PRTV now becomes the only multi-channel platform with its own brokerage firm (Realty Emporium) and selling (Superstar Sellers) avenue for real estate companies. Spearheaded in partnership with 8990 Holdings Inc. under its banner projects Deca Homes, the “Search for the Superstar Sellers” is now calling out to interested and potential sellers to participate in the competition as an avenue to harnessing their potential to jumpstart a promising career in real estate sales.
Spanning over a course of three months, contestants from Metro Manila and Pampanga will go head-to-head as they try to outwit, outhustle, and outsell each other to the most number of Deca Homes residential developments within the contest period.
“Contestants will find themselves learning not just about the product they are selling, but also what it takes to be an effective and successful real estate sales person,” shares Aguilar.
Throughout the contest, participants will receive various training in real estate sales such as digital marketing strategies from some of the country’s top digital marketing experts and real estate online platforms. They will also be given opportunities to widen their network through open house events and various other strategic selling initiatives. Aside from this, the winning competitor can also look forward to a host of other major incentives, such as a chance own a house and lot from Deca Homes, travel the region via an Asian cruise, and start living their dream as a successful real estate seller.
“I believe that all businesses that are successful are ultimately grounded on a truth,” says 8990 Holdings Development Corp. president and CEO Januario Jesus Atencio III. “And this is what I say that when you hold on to the truth about the company this becomes your motivation to wake up, to go out everyday trying to not just sell but to spread the good news of what the company that you are associated with is all about.”
“I’d like everybody who is interested in a real estate selling career to actually look at this program that we’ve partnered with Philippine Realty TV,” adds Atencio. “I think this is a novel way of looking at how sales is in the life of an agent, going out everyday and trying to market a product.”
“We are looking for driven and competitive individuals who are interested in joining the local property sector and build the foundations of a rewarding career as a real estate professional,” adds Aguilar.
Anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for finding the right homes for potential buyers is welcome to apply, but prior selling experience and a broker’s license are not necessary. Additionally, applicants must have good interpersonal and communication skills, and must also be willing to exclusively sell Deca Homes properties and be featured on Philippine Realty TV, which airs on ANC. Ultimately, contestants, whether on a full time or part time basis, must be intent on pursuing real estate selling as their future career.
