The Proscenium Residences Rockwell: Masterpiece merges art and culture in luxury living

Louise Maureen Simeon - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Premier developer Rockwell Land is bringing art and culture into the everyday lives of its residents as it launched recently the fifth and last masterpiece in its latest project, The Proscenium.

Rockwell Land continues to outdo itself with the rise of The Proscenium, adding 3.6 hectares to the 15.5-hectare Rockwell Center. The newest addition targets to elevate the Rockwell lifestyle to even greater heights and further attest to its pinnacle designs and architectural expertise.

The Proscenium Residences is a 59-story tower designed by world-renowned visionary Carlos Ott, whose architectural creations dot the skylines of Paris, Toronto, Dubai and Florida, among others.

It is the tallest of the five residential towers within The Proscenium enclave and hosts a mix of 100 studio-type units measuring 29-square meter (sqm), 122 one-bedroom units with 62 sqm floor plan, 241 two-bedroom units measuring 119 sqm, and 100 three-bedroom units with 147 sqm floor plan, where price ranges from P7 million to P37 million.

During The Proscenium Residences launch, Rockwell Land sales and marketing assistant vice president Jovie Jade Lim said six percent of the tower’s units worth P400 million were already sold.

“By 2018 or 2019, all units will be sold out,” she added.

Target completion and turnover is expected in the second quarter of 2021 and is seen to generate over P11 billion in sales. On the other hand, 80 percent of the remaining four towers of The Proscenium were already sold.

Ott envisioned a unique design for every tower that will come together and redefine Makati’s skyline and create a cultural center in the middle of a fast-paced city. The four other towers are named after world-famous theaters. Kirov and Sakura will prize privacy and exclusivity, with each floor featuring only two to five units. Lorraine will offer spacious units and its location provides easy access to the Rockwell Center while Lincoln will feature diverse unit cuts fit to the various needs of different residents.

The word “proscenium” is actually a part of a stage in a theater and as Rockwell Land brings art and lifestyle to its clients, the 600-seat Performing Arts Theater is set to rise just a few steps away from The Proscenium Residences, where residents and visitors can enjoy feature performances from local and international acts.

An addition to The Proscenium will be the Lopez Museum, whose Filipiniana archive of books, manuscripts, and maps remain unrivaled.  At present, the museum is distinguished by its collection of paintings by old masters, Juan Luna and Felix Ressurreccion Hidalgo, as well as works by national artists including Carlos “Botong” Francisco, Vicente Manansala, H.R. Ocampo, Cesar Legaspi and Arturo Luz.

Adjacent to the theater will be a vibrant retail center filled with luxury brands and boutiques and a wide array of savory dining options to fully experience the fine art of living.
