The Alcoves raises the bar in upscale living in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines - Luxury development is embedded in Ayala Land Premier’s genes and its latest offering, The Alcoves at the heart Cebu’s business district, offers no less.

The Alcoves is a 37-story luxury condominium that boasts of a number of unique amenities and residential concepts fit for a discerning market.

Following the success of its previous developments in Cebu’s business and leisure hub, namely 1016 Residences launched in 2010 and Park Point Residences introduced in 2012, The Alcoves promises to be another hit among locals and foreigners alike.

“The Alcoves will be a premium high-rise composed of two residential blocks connected by a shared elevator core. It features a unique design that is cohesive and blends with the overall design of the Ayala Center Cebu Superblock,” Ayala Land Premier managing director Jose Juan Jugo said.

A mixed-use tower with a retail podium and high-rise residences, The Alcoves will feature retail and dining establishments on the second and third floors, while a private access to Ayala Center Cebu provides residents with even more options.

“To cater to the discerning tastes of ALP’s market, The Alcoves presents the luxury of choice. There are eight residential concepts to choose from, six of which are considered special, limited edition units,” Jugo  said.

“Rising atop Ayala Center Cebu itself, residents will enjoy direct access to the mall’s various retail and dining options via the first four levels, which are all connected to the existing mall,” Jugo added.

One of its signature residential concepts is the Alcove Suites, a 112-square meter bi-level residences with two bedrooms, a powder room, en-suite bathrooms and maid’s room. Only six units of these well-designed residences are available.

Another exclusive residence is the Sky Alcove, a one-of- its-kind unit perched on the 36th level with grand views of the city and the Sky Pavilion. The 153-sqm unit has two levels and comes with two bedrooms, a galley-type kitchen, en-suite bathrooms, utility area and maid’s room.

“The one-bedroom Classic and two-bedroom Classic layouts have the most number of units in the mix. All two-bedroom classics are corner units at 106 sqm in size, with great views of the city. The one-bedroom Classics range from 58 to 69 sqm, and may be combined if the owner prefers, to become a larger home, tailor-fit to suit their lifestyle,” Jugo said.

“Owners may sometimes prefer to have more diverse living spaces so we’re providing the option of combining adjacent one-bedroom units together. This allows them to essentially create a truly flexible living space tailor-fit to their lifestyle. The owner is given this option once the units are turned over,” he added.

The Alcoves also offers Grand Corner Suites which are two-bedroom corner units 134 to 136 sqm big with large balcony areas.

On the 35th level, meanwhile, are the only three Sky Suite units in the building. These are residences 131 to 136 sqm in size, with two bedrooms, a walk-in closet for the master’s bedroom, en-suite bathrooms, maid’s room and powder room.

The Sky Villas are located on the 36th and 37th floors. These units offer huge living spaces at 250 to 259 sqm with three bedrooms, Asian-style gourmet kitchen, utility area, two dining areas and balcony area.

“Ayala Land Premier is also targeting the international market with special units called the one-bedroom Zen. These are units 58 to 73 sqm in size that feature a sizable Japanese-style bathroom with a typical bathroom layout that the Japanese market is accustomed to,” Jugo said.

Situated along its facade are six levels of distinctive Alcove Gardens – 40 sqm of open spaces with green walls and a restful seating area where residents can relax and take a full view of the city and Cebu’s mountain ranges.

Cebu’s new premium address will have two amenity levels. The fourth floor Amenity Deck features 2,500 sqm of landscaped gardens, a kiddie pool and lounge pool, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, function rooms and a veranda.

On the 35th level, meanwhile is an impressive Sky Pavilion overlooking the city skyline.

“Residents can work out at the fitness gym and lap pool, or unwind at the pool bar and lounge, all while enjoying magnificent views of the city. This is truly a one-of-a-kind feature for a premium residence like The Alcoves,” said Leya Moya, Ayala Land Premier project development group head.

The residences at The Alcoves start at P9 million, with the largest units going for up to P56 million. Cebu City’s latest luxury address is expected to be completed by 2020.
