MANILA, Philippines - Property developer Major Homes recently awarded Global Project Inc. (GPI) the contract to build Space Romualdez, its 28-story “condormitel” project at the corner of Romualdez and Sylvia streets in Ermita, Manila. The condormitel is an innovative combination of condominium, dormitory and hotel in one residential project. Eyeing a target market of around 135,000 students within 1.5 kilometers of its location, Major Homes designed Space Romualdez to address the demand for safe, convenient and more affordable housing. Space Romualdez is the second installment of Major Homes’ highly popular Space condormitel series. It offers more than 700 condormitel units fully furnished with three to four beds. Space Romualdez recently held its groundbreaking ceremony and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016. Present during the contract signing are (from left) GPI vice president Teddy Javines, GPI president Rolando Evangelista, Major Homes president Quinto Oreta and Major Homes property management head Roger Vinluan.
