Robinsons Land ushers first tenant in Cyberscape Alpha

MANILA, Philippines - Emerson Process Management, a unit of the US-based manufacturing and technology conglomerate, has moved in as the first tenant in the 26-story Cyberscape Alpha, Robinsons Land Corp.’s latest office building for the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector in Ortigas Center.

Emerson Process Management provides support in the areas of engineering, product development and testing, project execution, operations, customer service, and sales and marketing to the business unit’s customers in Asia Pacific and worldwide.

The company is now occupying five out of Cyberscape Alpha’s total 21 office floors.

“We are happy to move into Cyberscape Alpha as the efficient building design and features make it suitable for an operation like ours. Its strategic location within the Ortigas CBD also makes it a convenient workplace,” said Terry Krouth, vice president and general manager of Emerson Process Management’s Manila team.

Located between Sapphire and Garnet Roads, Cyberscape Alpha offers large, column-free floor plates for flexibility in organizing work areas, making it ideal for BPO or call center-type offices.

The building is equipped with high-speed elevators, a building management system addressing security, safety and fire protection, CCTV surveillance, ample provisions for telephone lines, 100-percent backup power; and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air conditioning system for effective operation and maintenance.

For the convenience of its tenants, the ground floor of Cyberscape Alpha features retail space for food and beverage outlets, a Ministop convenience store and a branch of BDO Unibank. It is also within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops in Metrowalk and the Robinsons Galleria mall where they can hold informal meetings or simply unwind and relax after a day’s work.

Robinsons Land’s Go Hotels will also open its eighth branch in Cyberscape Alpha, occupying the second to fourth floors, providing guests of tenants a convenient and affordable place to stay. More BPOs and call center companies are expected to make Cyberscape Alpha their home soon, attracted by its easy access to public transportation.

Cyberscape Alpha further solidifies Robinsons Land’s hold as the premier developer within the Ortigas CBD.
