Fire safety training held in Lancaster New City

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A lecture on fire safety and a fire drill was recently concluded in Lancaster New City in Imus, Cavite.

The event was spearheaded by PRO-FRIENDS’ Estate and Assets Management Group and Lancaster New City Homeowners Association for the residents, security personnel, and maintenance personnel of Lancaster New City.

Participants gathered at the audio visual room of St. Edward Integrated School for a lecture given by Capt. Aymar B. Baybay, Senior Inspector of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

A fire drill was held leading to the grounds outside the school where the participants met the other members of Imus BFP for a demonstration on the proper use of fire hoses and fire extinguishers. Participants were also given a chance to try both types of equipment.

PRO-FRIENDS initiated the event to make residents, security personnel, and maintenance personnel, aware of the possible damages from fire-related accidents and to teach them what to do and how to react in case a real fire occurs.
