Arista Place opens doors to new homeowners
MANILA, Philippines - For two families with fondness for living in Brgy. Sto. Niño in Parañaque City, moving to Arista Place means still being at home and in the neighborhood they so endear. That is how the Mabungas and Bermudezes felt when their new homes at the DMCI Homes residential condominium community, which is also located in Sto. Niño,and its keys were turned over to them last March.
Ernie and Bing Mabunga, who bought a two-bedroom unit at the ground floor of the Grande building, said their condo is bigger than the up-and-down apartment they have been renting nearby for so long. The Grande, together with Apex, are two of the 11 six-story buildings in Arista Place that have been completed and now ready for occupancy.
The Mabungas are both employees of Philippine Airlines (PAL) and their office is at the nearby Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). So, location was the couple’s primary consideration in choosing to live in Arista Place along JP Rizal St., one block away from Ninoy Aquino Avenue, where the airport is located.
“It’s a big convenience to live here in Arista Place. It only takes about 10 minutes and we’re in the office already,†Ernie said.
The couple saw an Arista Place billboard two years ago and contacted a DMCI Homes agent. While the location convinced them at the time to own a home in Arista Place, they never regretted the decision and the long wait especially now that they were very impressed with the community.
Meanwhile, Susana Bermudez, 62, is glad to be back living in Sto. Niño through Arista Place.
“I grew up here. I was brought up here,†said the businesswoman from Tarlac of the Parañaque village she left after finishing college to work as a nurse abroad. “The neighborhood is excellent.â€
Bermudez was convinced to buy a two-bedroom unit in the Grande building after her sister introduced Arista Place two years ago. She now realizes the other advantages of the location. Her new home is very accessible and close to the airport, the Mall of Asia and Baclaran.
“The atmosphere is pleasant, very accommodating, very welcoming. I feel really at home,†Bermudez said.
